Musical Note Unlock Screen 1.0

This is the CUSTOMIZE version of the iPod Touch/iPhone Unlock screen image replacement set, Musical Note Unlock.

This Unlock theme uses non-standard size buttons and transparency to give a fresh “3D layered” look to the slide to unlock feature. It’s even aligned with the Apple system text (’slide to unlock’ etc)!

HOW TO INSTALL

Place the folders inside “Musical Note Unlock” into their respectively named folders in your Customize directory:

/private/var/mobile/Library/Customize

on your iPod Touch or iPhone [1.1.3 firmware]. For earlier firmware versions, use this path instead:

/private/var/root/Library/Customize

For example, the folder “Musicnote_BarImage” should go in the …/Customize/BarImages directory on your iPod.

The supplied Wallpaper image (if any) should be synced to your iPod or placed in the same location as your other Wallpaper files (Wallpaper for unlock screen, not for main screen/Summerboard). Choose this Wallpaper file in your Settings as usual.

HOW TO CUSTOMIZE

TO USE THEME - Musical Note UNLOCK SCREEN

1. Ensure you have transferred files to correct directories on your iPod Touch/iPhone, then open Customize.app.

2. Set the “Bottom Bar” option to the Musical Note image. There are 2 options, one with Bar drop shadow, and one without.

3. Next, select “Main Slider” and choose the Musical Note.

4. Next, select any “Highlight Mask” of your choosing.

5. If you prefer, you can change the ‘Slide to Unlock’ text to nothing (just press space) in the “Springboard Strings” options in Customize.

6. Set your Unlock screen wallpaper to your preferred Wallpaper, by your usual method (ie; Settings>General>Wallpaper, or select it from the Photo applications)

NOTES

This Unlock theme works well with other sliders, especially those of objects such as that featured in my Golf and Basketball Unlock theme sets.
This design is original and features transparency and non-standard bar sizing to give a different overall look to the Unlock Bar.
